Do you remember your very first big trip—the one that changed how you saw the world?
For me, it started when I graduated college. My grandparents gifted our family a cruise to the Bahamas. At the time, they handed me something even bigger without realizing it. They gave me the opportunity to plan the entire trip. Flights, cruise line, logistics—I handled it all. It was my first time planning a group trip. I had absolutely no clue that I would be doing this as a career in the future.
Looking back, it’s wild how full-circle that moment feels.
We sailed with Norwegian Cruise Line. We fully embraced the all-inclusive lifestyle. There was great food, endless activities, and late nights at the clubs. We were truly living our best lives. I can still picture it so clearly. That trip didn’t just spark a love for travel—it shifted the direction of my life.
That experience changed everything for Josh and me.
We kept traveling. We kept exploring. One trip turned into many. Now we’ve visited the Bahamas, Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Bonaire, and Belize. We have explored countless destinations across the United States. We’ve hiked through beautiful landscapes, spent countless hours scuba diving, and chased experiences that brought us closer together. Japan and Europe are high on our bucket list. I already know they’ll leave their own mark on our story.
Travel has a way of doing that.
