Omaha International Boat, Sports & Travel Show Recap: Outdoor Adventure, Wildlife Encounters and Travel Inspiration
We just wrapped up our third year at the Omaha International Boat, Sports & Travel Show, and every year it reminds me how much Nebraskans truly love adventure.
Hosted at the CHI Health Center Omaha in downtown Omaha, this event brings everything outdoors under one roof. From luxury RVs and compact campers to boats, jet skis, and custom dock setups, it’s the ultimate showcase for anyone who loves being outside and on the move.
And the animals always make it unforgettable. The kangaroos with their joeys tucked safely inside their moms’ pouches were easily a crowd favorite. There were playful monkeys, stunning owls, and interactive bird enclosures where you could step inside and feed them by hand. It turns the show into a full experience, not just a shopping event.
At my booth, I had so many great conversations about travel plans for every season. I love meeting fellow Nebraskans who don’t just vacation once a year, but want to travel year-round, especially when we get hit with blizzards like we did this weekend. There’s nothing like talking about sunshine, beaches, cruises, and warm ocean water while the snow is piling up outside.
Whether you love lake days in the summer or you’re ready to escape Midwest winters for somewhere tropical, this show brings together people who are always thinking about their next adventure.
If we didn’t get a chance to connect at the show, let’s change that. Thinking about a warm-weather escape or planning something later this year? Reach out and let’s get it on the calendar. Your next getaway could already be in the works.
